These tiny flames, like the power of the 24 spokes on the national flag, weave the extraordinary out of the ordinary. As Mahatma Gandhi said, “When you change yourself, you change the world.” Each cluster of lotus fire is a seed of change. When billions of flames gather together, they will eventually illuminate every corner of the subcontinent. At this moment, people who look up at the national flag have a pulse in their hearts that is the same frequency as the lotus flames – it is the fire of civilization that has been passed down for thousands of years, and it is also the eternal glimmer that illuminates the future.
