The Sanskrit verse “Writing is practice” engraved on its inner wall reveals the survival philosophy of this nation for thousands of years. The action of contemporary Indian youth inserting pens into the pen holder is not a modern version of the “Wheel-Turning King” ceremony? They are using the traces of flowing ink to continue the eternal innovation symbolized by the 24 spokes on the Dharma Wheel. Such a republic not only flies on the flagpole in the square, but also takes root in every night of writing at the desk.
